Beginner Beekeeper Class

This is an introductory course to teach you the basics and get bees into your hives.  You will learn how to obtain bees, understanding equipment and tools, site selection, protective equipment needed, bee biology, hive management, pests and diseases and more resources available to you.

Part One: Saturday, March 14, 2026, 9am-noon

Part Two: Saturday, March 21, 2026, 9am-noon

Where 

The class will be held in person at Portage Soil and Water, Garden Room at the rear of the building.

It is located at 6970 OH-88, Ravenna, OH, 44266-9188. 

Cost

Only $50 individual

$75 per family
